The Morrisville branch library is the anchor for an ambitious effort that is creating a new Town Center for the Morrisville community.
The branch library is conceived as having a single “great room” where reading and stack space is bathed with diffused light, openness gives way to a full view of activity. High ceilings and flexible spaces in great room are supported by two wings. The design offers natural divisions of reading spaces and activities between adult reading, youth, and children’s areas while also creating moments throughout the space of respite, creativity and inspiration for all.
The team at Little has repeatedly provided imaginative, innovative and functional facilities that meet the needs of Wake County, and have a timeless quality and functionality.
