Positioned as a prominent landmark at the east campus entry, the Gateway Center is a three-story, multipurpose facility that will host events like orientations, commencement ceremonies, athletic competitions, small concerts, and community gatherings. Designed in collaboration with SSOE Group, the building features a main event space with a seating capacity of 3,100, a collegiate-sized basketball court with locker rooms, a presidential suite, and a student health, wellness, and recreation space. Flexible use rooms in the center will support students through formal and informal learning and collaboration.

The 5,400 square feet fitness mezzanine features group exercise rooms, a student commons area, locker rooms, and support spaces. Expected completion is late 2024.
