This PreK-8 school is an anchor for the Renaissance West Community and supports a neighborhood revitalization effort.

Divided into academies that support the teaching and learning of STEAM through project-based and collaborative learning, the school not only supports the development of the children but also creates a gathering place for the community. The design also places an emphasis on sustainability. By implementing the concept of integrative process thinking, the project team cultivated a more comprehensive perspective of the project’s sustainable features and collectively identify synergies that would keep budgets and sustainable integrity intact.
